Most LGBTQ+ adults feel Americans don’t accept transgender people, poll finds

A new Pew Research Center found that about 6 in 10 LGBTQ+ adults said there is “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of social acceptance in the U.S. for gay and lesbian people. Only about 1 in 10 said the same for nonbinary and transgender people.
