Currently, numerous emergency personnel are at the scene after a crane collapsed in Inwood, Manhattan. New York EMS units are reporting that five people have been injured in the collapse at least three people have with serious injuries with two others with minor injuries. NYPD officers advise that the boom of the crane broke off and landed in a nearby construction site. All construction workers at the affected site have been accounted for by first responders. Police are asking everyone to avoid the area as they divert traffic surrounding the scene.
