Mesh News Project - Awake, Not Woke

The corporate media is effectively dead, whether they acknowledge it or not. COVID-19 was a significant tool used to widen the wealth gap, close 100,000 small businesses nationwide, and force the working and middle classes into a precarious situation through COVID policies (and vaccines) that lacked scientific backing. This has drained their savings and severely diminished their quality of life. The pandemic revealed that major media institutions often serve as mouthpieces for the State Department and their corporate advertisers.

The goal of mainstream media is no longer to pursue the truth; it’s now focused on profits and controlling narratives.

This is why The Mesh News Project exists.

We believe that news is a public right, similar to basic education and emergency services. Our nation has witnessed the consequences when news corporations prioritize profit maximization over accurate and fact-based reporting.

In a corporate-centric, profit-driven news network model, narratives are pushed to the highest bidder, and mainstream media often acts as a propaganda arm for powerful entities. This environment allows them to manipulate reality and manufacture consent.

The Mesh News Project stands apart. We are a zero-profit (not a 501(c)(3) organization—absolutely zero profit) passion project that removes the profit incentive and the pressure to seek “access” from our news network model. We serve no masters, be it the State Department or advertisers. We uphold the Fairness Doctrine to ensure representation of all opinions, and we have no centralized control by an “Editor-in-Chief.”

Once a year, we refresh our decentralized team of 42 individuals, whom we call “Newsmakers.” Newsmakers are not journalists; the term “journalist” has been marred by bias, deception, and a betrayal of the mission to inform and protect the public.

Newsmakers do just that. These 42 passionate content creators and investigative thinkers are self-funded critical anchors who are motivated by their own ideas and who “make the news” daily.

Mesh News has no input on Newsmaker opinions or content, and once a year, we refresh our roster to feature Newsmakers from the left, center, and right. This balanced mix of viewpoints ensures that a diverse range of ideas is represented in the news cycle.

Our team includes Republicans, Libertarians, Centrists, Democrats, and Liberals, all of whom are given a voice on the Mesh News Project’s website, social media, and decentralized TV network, MeshTV (https://tv.meshnews.org).

By completely removing profit motives and maintaining this news network as a philanthropic labor of love, while keeping the Fairness Doctrine as our core moral compass, we aim to return news to its rightful mission: informing the working and middle classes about national and international events, through the lens of people who care about facts—not state propaganda or corporate interests.

The narrative is dead.

Long live the news.
